Kathie studied French and Italian as a mature student at Anglia Polytechnic University having previously worked in international banking and the voluntary sector. She discovered her interest in law when she began working as a bi-lingual secretary at an Ipswich firm where she quickly moved to a paralegal role.
Kathie studied for both her Post Graduate Diploma in Law and her Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University by distance learning whilst continuing to work at the Ipswich firm where she also did her training contract and qualified as a solicitor.
