Lois joined the Wills and Probate team at Gudgeons Prentice in early 2016 after moving to the area.
Lois studied for the Legal Executive exams whilst working as a secretary for a small law firm specialising in intestate estates passing bona vacantia to the Treasury Solicitor. During her time there, she worked closely with genealogists and assisted in cases featured on the TV programme “Heir Hunters”.
After being formally admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2002 Lois began specialising in all aspects of Private Client work including the administration of estates, both testate and intestate. Lois also deals with Wills and has a particular interest in elderly client work including Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.
Lois practises yoga regularly and also enjoys running (slowly!). A keen fell walker, Lois particularly likes to spend time in the Lake District.
