Practice Manager and Compliance Officer for Finance & Administration

Lauren has almost 20 years’ experience in legal finance and is Practice Manager and Compliance Officer for Finance & Administration at Gudgeons Prentice Solicitors. Working across the firm’s Stowmarket and Needham Market offices, she supports a growing team of over 40 people and helps ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the firm.

Her role spans people, premises, finance, new business, marketing, compliance and operations, with a strong focus on supporting colleagues and delivering excellent client service.

A people person at heart, Lauren is passionate about creating a workplace culture where staff feel valued, listened to and proud of the work they do. She leads with warmth, positivity and authenticity, building strong relationships and nurturing talent across the firm.

Having been part of Gudgeons Prentice for 18 years, Lauren cares deeply about the firm’s people, clients and local communities. She is proud to be part of a firm with a legacy dating back to 1821 and is committed to helping shape its future in a caring, forward-thinking way.

Outside work, Lauren is a busy mum of two with an energetic Labrador thrown in for good measure. She loves a long dog walk, pottering in her garden and attempting to grow her own food.
